If I ruled the world, I would…  Make accessible education a priority (and mandatory).
The biggest influence on my professional career… My first boss, Henry, at Dean Witter. He had an exceptional drive and work ethic but also understood balance and the need for life outside of the office. Plus, he was loads of fun — we laughed daily.
Favorite pastime outside of work… Traveling — the U.S. and the world. Next stop: Shanghai. Well, it’s on the list!
My fortune cookie says… A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.
Mike Hecklinger

Mike Hecklinger
SVP/Account Executive
mike@assetcommunications.com
Denver, Colorado
Mike has held a variety of marketing communications and sales roles in the financial services industry over the past 15 years. Don’t let his conservative looks fool you, he’s a dancing machine at charity events like the Rocky Mountain MS Center’s “Dancing to the Decades”. His powder skiing might make you envious but his golf game certainly will not.
 If I ruled the world, I would…  It’s not “if,” it’s “when.”
The biggest influence on my professional career…  The Pittsburgh Post Gazette Stock Market Game.
Favorite pastime outside of work…  Powder skiing among friends — might involve playing hooky. Mother Nature does not recognize the weekends or holidays.
My fortune cookie says…  Your children will always admire you.

If I ruled the world, I would…  Tell everyone to wear comfortable pajamas and fuzzy slippers all the time. I think this would make us all be a lot nicer to each other.
The biggest influence on my professional career… Still looking for one…. But favorite persons in history are: Thomas Jefferson (brilliant mind!), Abraham Lincoln (solid, good soul; never gave up), and Einstein (always thinking outside the box).
Favorite pastime outside of work…  Laughing at anything and everything I can find that is funny, and playing outside with my family.
My fortune cookie says…  “Live Long and Prosper” (thanks Spock).
